Soprano, Sarah Baumgarten has no trouble showcasing her personality through the repertoire she performs.  In "Jews to my Ears" she will be performing Jewish songs, and songs by Jewish composers. Listen as she sings about the themes that inspired Jews to succeed, as well as songs that have become important to the Jewish tradition and adopted by non-Jewish composers. From "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" to "Jerusalem of Gold" Sarah along with accompanist, Joseph Krupa will demonstrate the eclectic repertoire that has been produced by Jews, and for all audiences.

Sarah Baumgarten is an operatic and musical theatre performer.  Earning her B.M. in Voice Performance from Penn State University and M.M. in Voice Performance and Pedagogy from Peabody Institute, she now performs, freelances and teaches voice and piano in the Philadelphia area.

Joseph Krupa holds a B.A. from Rutgers University and an M.M. degree (Piano Performance) from the University of Calgary.  He is a much sought after collaborative pianist for opera companies, choruses and music theatre companies in the tri-state area, as well as for solo singers and instrumentalists.
