NOVEMBER 2021 TOPIC SCHEDULE

Wednesday, November 3: Parental and family challenges…Are they different today than the challenges you faced when you were starting a family or growing into adulthood? All of us experienced challenges as we became adults, created families, established careers. Are the challenges of today different that you faced? Are they easier or more difficult to overcome? Would you change places with today’s adults and families?

Wednesday, November 10: Mother-in-Law - special lady or Monster-in-law? For those who have had a mother-in-law, it is a unique relationship. What can you discuss with your mother-in-law? How do you refer to her? What happens if your wife “becomes” her mother? Is that a good or bad thing? How would you describe your relationship with your mother-in-law? Let’s discuss.
Wednesday, November 17: The U.S. Supreme Court…should there be term limits? Should anything else change? The U.S. Supreme Court is established by Article III of the Constitution, yet its actual organization is established by Congress. Should the Justices have lifetime appointment? Should there be 9 justices, or a different number? Should there be parameters for their selection? Let’s discuss.
Wednesday, November 24: Thanksgiving-What does it mean to you and has its meaning changed since the pandemic? – In commemoration of Thanksgiving let’s discuss. What do you do for Thanksgiving? How did you celebrate Thanksgiving during the pandemic? What does Thanksgiving mean to you and has its meaning changed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic? What one thing are you particularly thankful for?

Bagels and coffee will be served. Meet new friends; see old friends. What happens in Men’s Group stays in Men’s Group. Join us!!
