How did a 1930s comic strip about a little girl, a billionaire and a dog inspire the biggest hit Broadway musical of 1976? And what has kept this show a worldwide favorite for half a century? John Kenrick shares a lifetime of personal memories of this musical, with great performance clips from the original cast and other memorable productions.
John Kenrick is an American author, teacher and film historian. He is an adjunct professor of musical theatre history at New York University and The New School and lectures frequently throughout the tristate.
This program is co-sponsored by The Jewish Federation in the Heart of New Jersey.
