Live Well @ The JCC

Live Well @ the JCC is an exercise and educational program that focuses on promoting Health, Fitness and Wellness

for our 55+ population.  Live Well @ the JCC emphasizes HEALTH (promoting the length and quality of your life by interacting with your environment and positive choices), FITNESS (focusing on prevention by decreasing your risk for chronic diseases such as Diabetes, Osteoporosis, Hypertension and Heart Disease through physical activity) and WELLNESS (through the spirit, the mind, and the body integrating and constantly changing with the environment).

The program includes Tai Chi/Qi Gong, Zumba Gold, Chair Yoga, Body Fit and Sculpt Your Body.  Lectures have included Mindfulness, The 5 Pillars of Health, CPR Friends and Family, Self Defense for the Older Adult, Car Fit, Ready, Steady Balance as well as many additional topics.

We will be starting our 4th year of Live Well @ the JCC in September. Possible additions include Israeli Dancing, Meditation, a lecture on Massage and a visit to a supermarket with a licensed nutritionist.
