This former junk dealer ran the most successful studio of Hollywood’s Golden Age considering every employee a member of his family. A father figure to some, a ruthless dictator to others, he made and destroyed some of the biggest stars in the business. A fascinating look at his colorful life!

John Kenrick is an American author, teacher and film historian. He is an adjunct professor of musical theatre history at New York University and The New School and lectures frequently on the subject throughout the tristate area.
