STAYING POSITIVE DURING TRYING TIMES

A Live Well @ the JCC Zoom Presentation with Diane Lang
Tuesday September 22 @ 10:30 AM via Zoom

With gloom and doom around us, it can be hard to find the positive. Isolation has many of us feeling sad and anxious. But it is possible to stay positive, feel hopeful and reduce stress/anxiety during these turbulent times.
We can learn to feel better by paying attention to our thoughts and feelings in a way that increases our ability to manage difficult situations and make wise choices. With intentional effort and tools for cultivating happiness and mindfulness we can feel more positive and hopeful - even during a crisis.

Diane Lang is a therapist, educator and positive living expert. She has dedicated her career to helping people turn their lives around and is now on a mission to help them develop a sustainable attitude that can actually turn one into an optimist, literally.
Ms. Lang is an adjunct professor of psychology at Montclair State University. This is Diane’s second lecture with Live Well @ the JCC. She previously spoke on the benefits of Mindfulness in Feb. 2018.
