This talented Harlem native danced and sang his way to fame on stage and screen.  As a black, Puerto Rican Jew with a white wife, Sammy Davis, Jr. smashed racial and religious barriers along the way.  John Kenrick covers Davis’s raucous years with the Rat Pack, his triumphs on Broadway, in Las Vegas and in films.

John Kenrick is an American author, teacher and film historian.  He is an adjunct professor of musical theatre history at New York University and The New School and lectures frequently on the subject throughout the tristate area.
