In Person Only

Facilitator: Esther Fendrick
Thursdays from 11AM - 12 NOON
The JCC Women's Discussion Group is designed for women seeking meaningful daytime learning, interaction and stimulating conversation in a relaxed setting with new and old friends.

DISCUSSION DATES:

July 28, 2022 @ 11AM: Who were Batya, Gluckel of Hameln, Emmy Noether and Muriel Faye Siebert? How are these women connected to Ruth Bader Ginsberg? What do they have in common?

August 25, 2022 @ 11AM:  News. Are we really getting news or just opinion? We used to be able to turn on the TV or read a newspaper and get the news, the facts and the information. How has that changed?  We trusted Cronkite, Huntley & Brinkley, Jennings, Brokaw and Koppel, etc. Can we still trust our anchors or is it all just opinion? What do Americans think of their “News” today?

September 29, 2022 @ 11AM:  If you could go back in time, would you have chosen a different career or life path?  If you could have had a different career, what would it have been and why? Was another life path ever an option for you? If so, why didn’t you pursue it?  Do you think your life would have been better, worse or just different if you had chosen differently?
