YOM KIPPUR BREAK-FAST Virtual Cooking Class

The Break-Fast is the anticipated after-fast meal that we eat at the end of Yom Kippur. Many celebrate with a festive meal consisting of traditional foods. Join celebrated cookbook author Leah Koenig (The Jewish Cookbook, Modern Jewish Cooking) for an online cooking demonstration that explores the fascinating history and evolution of the Break-Fast, and shares tips and recipes to make this year's celebration uniquely delicious. Recipes will be distributed prior to the program for those who are interested in cooking along with Leah.

Leah's writing and recipes have appeared in The New York Times, New York Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Epicurious, Food52, Departures, and Tablet, among other publications. Leah is the author of six cookbooks including “The Jewish Cookbook” (Phaidon, 2019) and “Modern Jewish Cooking“ (Chronicle Books). In addition to writing, Leah also leads cooking demonstrations and workshops around the country and world.
