Shekinah is a second-degree black belt in Okinawan Karate, with 16 years of training under her belt. She is also a student of Aikido, a martial art that emphasizes blending and harmony, and a teacher of Feldenkrais Method® Awareness Through Movement® classes. Steven and his wife Stefanie are the ISR Honbu Dojo Head Instructors and will be attending some of the classes to help Shekinah as needed. Steven Haiser started in 1981, earning his 1st-degree black belt in 1986. Stefanie Haiser started in 1993 and earned her 1st-degree black belt in 2000. Stefanie was inducted into the 2022 USA Karate Federation Hall of Fame as an athlete and an administrator. They both currently hold the rank of 7th Degree black belt.
